Install Seqyra (Beta)

Seqyra is currently in beta and not yet signed by Apple or Microsoft. Your system may show a warning before opening the app. This is expected.

This does NOT mean the app is unsafe. It simply means Seqyra has not gone through platform verification yet.

macOS

You may see:

“Seqyra cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.”

  1. Download the .dmg file
  2. Open it and drag Seqyra into Applications
  3. Go to Applications
  4. Right-click Seqyra
  5. Click Open
  6. Click Open again in the popup

If it still doesn’t open:

  1. Try opening Seqyra once
  2. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
  3. Scroll down
  4. Click Open Anyway

Windows

You may see:

“Windows protected your PC”

  1. Click More info
  2. Click Run anyway

Linux

  1. Download the .AppImage file
  2. Right-click → Properties
  3. Enable Allow executing as a program
  4. Double-click to run

Why this happens

Seqyra is in beta and has not yet gone through official code signing and notarization processes required by Apple and Microsoft.

The app runs entirely on your device and does not collect or transmit your data.
